Ghost Army Inflatable Sherman Tank

PVC inflatable interpretation of the inflatable tanks used by the United States Army unit '23rd Headquarters Special Troops'.  Their tactical mission was to deceive Hitler’s forces into expecting Allied troops to invade France at the Pas-de-Calais so they would be unprepared for the actual invasion point in Normandy on D-Day June 6th, 1944. To this end, they stationed large numbers of inflatable tanks and aircraft. 

1/6th scale. Based on the blueprints for the M4A1 Sherman Tank.

Opening turret hatch on top with a pocket to hold a 1/6th figure (kneeling).
