Product Description

This British uniform came out in 1960 to finally replace woolen battle dress.

It was worn into the 1970’s when it was replaced by the 1968 pattern (which was the same design in DPM camo material) It was externally very similar ( though in a slimmer -more fitting cut ) to the 1952 pattern over- uniform first used in the second winter of the Korean War by the British Army ( this Itself was similar to the US 1951 pattern combat uniform ) The pattern developed in 1966 had oval elbow patches like ours .

This is the uniform that Action Man of 1966 could have, and should have worn!

It is also the uniform that Pedigree Tommy Gunn of 1966 based their shirt and trousers on . (a much less detailed version than our version )

The set shown here is the combat smock and trousers.  Will fit most 1:6 scale figures on the market today.
